Root Arabic support

Hello guys. I am attempting to read and write Arabic on my new LG Esteem. I had an HD2 which had cm7 with FULL Arabic support. So far, I am able to get Arabic letters to show, however they are not connected, making them unreadable. Please help me out as I love this phone and do not want to look back.

Just to clarify- you mean Arabic totally across the entire phone or just within certain apps?

well if someone knows how to get this done it would b great. i use mirsal it does a bit in browser
