Archos 28 Flash Problems

Hi

I recently purchased an Archos 28 to play back Flash videos, etc, but have had no luck in getting Flash to work. I updated the firmware from the Archos website and the 28 is now running Android 2.2.1 with Board Version A28-V3. I can't find Flash Player 10.3 in the AppsLib program and despite the apk for Flash 10.3 downloaded from the Internet successfully installing, it doesn't work.

Opera 6 doesn't pick up the Flash plug-in and Archos' built-in web browser starts to load Flash videos on Youtube, BBC website but then crashes unexpectedly. Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes plugins are already enabled in the Browser application but I could not see an option in Opera Mini to enable plugins. I have tried reinstalling Flash and Opera Mini but still no luck at the moment, unfortunately.

I would try Dolphin browser as someone else suggested.

Hi, thanks for all your suggestions. I have tried all the browsers that have been recommended and also attempted to downgrade to Flash 10.1, no luck on all accounts. The Flash video begins to load before each of the Flash supported browsers crash suddenly. Oh well, it's a real shame I'll wait and see if a fix becomes available in the future.
