Archos screenshot bug?

I have 2 Archos 28, and on both of them, this is what I get when I make a screenshot:

Whether it is in landscape or portrait, the same bug.

Any ideas if there is a way to fix it?

To take that buggy screenshot, I go to Settings -> Applications -> Development -> Take a screenshot instead of suspend - that turns the ON/OFF button into a shutter release button... but the result????

To answer my own question, for future reference: I thought I had the latest firmware version (because I was updating from the Archos device, and it said so), but when I went to the Archos website (Support -> Downloads), it turns out that there is an updated operating system which can only be obtained via the PC (OS v 2.3.20).

That fixed the screenshot bug.

Confusing, but job done!

I didn't know they had a new version available, I didn't get a notification.
I guess I'll have to check their site periodically.
Downloading now for my A43.
