Are All Accessories Built The Same

I'm on Amazon.com looking to buy some Wall Chargers, Car Chargers, and MicroUsb Cables but I am shown ones with model numbers. Are they built differently? I ant a Wall Charger USB - but one that works with ANY cable that charges with USB. If I bought a Usb Wall Carger for AT&T LG Vortex... or whatever, will it still work with Droid X2 or Whatever phone. Am I reading too much into this, or are they made for just that? It's claearly USB but then why do they add the name?!

i can tell you that the one that works on the Blackberry Storm works just fine on the DX2. I think they will generally work just fine, you just want to make sure that the I/O voltage is the same. I would recommend going into a store like Radio Shack or Best Buy and looking around, you may find a few that you can look at and compare.
