Are new XE's released with ICS ?

All the posts i read say they are planning to orhave updated to 4.0 ICS
yet the advert for the Sensation XE where I intend to buy my phone says
in its spec that it has 4.0 as its OS

Have they started installing 4.0 on new phones now before they are sold?

My mom bought my HTC sensation xe with I think 4.0 version and we just update it to ics version .....we just bought it last month

yes, I bought a htc sensation xe a month ago, android version is 4.0.3 and htc sense vesion is 3.6 .
