Root are the updates to zve from lg and metro the same?

I just went to a metro store for an update to one of my phones and the guy thete
told me that is going to take about an hour for the update i dont remember taking that long with the update tool from lg site this guys from metro have the update on a microsd card why they dont use the lg tool and a computer like i did ok just curious thanks guys

i think it took maybe a lil less updating at home,how i did it,but im still iffy with them taking my phone to the back or just hooking it up to another comp.i dont really know what there doing,you feel me

yep but they dont even use the computer they just stick the microsd on the phone and that's it all go back on this weekend to see what is about because i went to another store closest to my crib but the"" lady ""in there told me that i have to go to a different store cause their microsd card was broken
u know if the update would be the same as the one with lg tool why they dont use the computer insted of the fricking microsd ok bro
