Root Are you able to keep CPU clock after unrooting

This question is for a friend who asked me but i wasnt to sure so im asking you guys!!!


My friend has overclocked his CPU to 1.2GHz, if he unroots his phone will he still be running at that speed instead of the stock 1GHz??

Nope knocks you back to stock 1GHz. You need root access to overclock.
