I for one am giddy with excitement. I simply can't wait to finally get this phone after all the suspense. Seeing as a release date will most likely be announced in a few days I wanted to know how excited everyone was. Right now I am running around my house laughing like Peter Griffin..............in my underwear.:D

I'm happy that we're getting close - I'm confident that it'll be this week - but I'm not doing cartwheels until it's an established FACT that the phone is being released, and I have a confirmation of my order with Verizon.

Well, I was coming to say my excitement is wavering, but a commercial is on RIGHT NOW! Who am I kidding? Yes, I'm excited! :D

I'm excited...but this is my first smart phone so I'm going to have a lot to learn. It has been hard staying committed to TB. Like others, I almost bailed for something else. I'm glad I waited! :)
 
As evidenced by the near 5000 posts in the "best buy" thread, im pretty confident that everyones excited...
 
I wish I could be excited but I only will be when we hear a release date or I have the phone in my hands.. I pre ordered on 2/8.. Bullcrap

Im curious as to how many of us did the Peter Griffin laugh out loud when they read this. I know I did. LOL
 
My excitement has decreased dramatically, but I think it is a defense mechanism. I've been so pumped then let down in the last month, I've got self preservation going on now. Soon enough, I'll be manic again. ;)
 
I'm planning on it releasing the 17th but if its sooner then I'll be stoked. This is my first smartphone as well, and being a techy I'm happy to finally jump on the bandwagon and possibly run over my samsung sway (look at how crappy it is) with my car. I'm even looking at apps and bookmarking them into folders so I can dl them as soon as I get the phone. I'm becoming/have become an obsessive maniacal geek.
 
I'd love it if I could have it in time for PAX East which starts on the 11th, so the 10th would be perfect. I'll get VERY excited if that's the case. If it turns out to be the 17th I will still look look forward to it, but it'll dull the edge a bit.
 
I seesaw between excitement and disappointment. I am generally excited, then my Blackberry will reboot itself or do some other funky thing I do not direct it to do and the disappointment sets in....

I like many others go from excited to disappointed. I'm ready to dump my OG Droid and move on, but the lack of announcements is annoying at best. I wish Verizon would just issue the release date, no matter if it's this Thursday or the third Thursday in June. Either way, I can either get excited or finally move on to another phone and get excited about that.
 
I am over all the excitement now. I was excited on the 7th when i reserved my phone but not anymore ofcourse I would still pick it up if it comes out before the 24th but I really dont care anymore. I agree with some of guys when you say that they should just announce the release date of the phone so all this could be put to an end. I really hate that they are just quite about it. I wont be surprised if they just wanna sell as many iphones as they can before they launch the phone. I think it sucks but may be an announcement will hold off people from buying an iphone.

It comes with every iphone. ATT doesn't usually sell anything either for like a month when they sell an iphone. It kinda sucks I wish some one stopped apple from doing this.
 
If this phone isn't released by the 17th I'm giving up and going with Verizon's iPhone 4. The longer I wait for this the phone the longer I'm giving AT&T my hard earned money.
 
Just noticed that the thunderbolt is on bestbuy.coms mobile site. But its "sold out" online. Just thought it was interesting. Not sure if its old news, are irrelevant...but god knows I need something to keep me hopeful about this phone...
 
Excited? I was when I pre-orderd it at BB for a 2-14-11 sure-fire release (as promised by the BB Mobile sales dude). Now, I've grown indifferent due to all the let downs. The fact that people are still checking and posting in THIS forum is a clue that we're all interested and desire this phone. Just irritated with VZW at their constant delays!

Excited? Was once. Now it's personal....
