Are you planning on buying the Incredible HD/Vigor/Rezound?

I wonder if the evo 3d or other htc batteries will fit in the vigor? Would be nice to be able to get like a 1830 mah battery that fits in the stock battery door.

Honestly I wish phone manufacturers would quit having the race to the thinnest smartphone and trying to give us wafer thin phones. Something around the Thunderbolt thickness but stick in a 2000mah battery.

I agree with you 100% but since apple goes for the thinnest phone every other manufacturer tries that too. I have the thunderbolt with an extended battery and it isnt that bad after awhile. I just wish they would add larger stock batteries. As much as these phones cost you would think they could add a larger battery. I would take a larger battery over a sd card included anyday. I already have enough sd cards.

This is nearly identical to Vigor in spec except it has bigger 1830mAh battery. Also HD IPS-LCD would be looking great.

It has a larger screen. Hopefully this will be better than the g2x that was plagued with a ton of issues and to this day has still not been resolved. I would love to see this and the vigor come out very close to one another and compare the two. Wonder if the date on the "leaked" roadmap was pretty close or if we wont see it for months. Then again it did pass through the fcc so will be interesting to see when it launches.

Very interesting. I guess HTC know the Incredible name is very well established.

Here are the latest specs I saw this morning:

HTC Droid Incredible HD runs Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread OS with HTC Sense UI 3.5 on top of it, sporting a large 4.3-inch display with HD resolution of 1280 X 720 pixels, 1.5GHz dual-core processor ticking inside, a full gigabyte of RAM, an 8 megapixels of rear-facing camera to record 1080p HD video, an additional 2 megapixel front facing camera with LED flash to make video calls, 16GB built-in memory storage, micro card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, a pre-installed 32GB microSD card, Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11 Wi-Fi b/g/n connectivity, Mobile Hotspot functionality to share 4G LTE speeds up to 10 Wi-Fi enabled devices, A-GPS, Android Market, 1620mAh battery with wireless inductive charging capabilities, a whole host of the Google services and all regular features of an Android phone.

... Must has.

This thing is looking mighty tasty. I just hope I can get my hands on it in the next 60 days.

My only gripe is the screen size. I'll have to test drive some demos in person but screen real estate is important to me since I'll be giving up my slider keyboard (OG Droid) and need s-p-a-c-e to get used to a virtual keyboard vs. display area

4.3 will give you plenty of space for a virtual keyboard. Not to mention the droid keyboard was terrible to type on.

Thinking about picking one of these up only to hold me over until whatever the "Droid Prime" phone is released. Anyone know off-hand what their return policy is on upgrades?

I've had an upgrade available since early July but Verizon's current phone selection is pathetic.

Just got back from the local Radio Shack. Was checking out Sprints new GS2 variant, the Epic 4g touch. HAD to check this beast out,lol...wrong network though,oh well. SO...I was discussing phones with them and mentioned the HTC Vigor as a phone I'm definately considering buying. They checked their system and wala! The Vigor IS the Incredible HD and is launching (with them at least) on October 20th. Possibly everywhere that day. It was in their computer so I'd give high credence to this. :D
