Root argggghhhh :( - ClockworkMod issues

alpharev requires root

my phone is rooted using the stock rom, well i think it is, i have superuser and it allows full access to rom manager so im assuming its rooted

hi - i think if the superuser app shows then you are rooted

slap a good rom on there

the whole reason i am trying to s-off is because my phone is PVT 4 and has an erase size of 40,000 and wont let me install any roms, it keeps saying installation aborted and it cant find files etc etc, ive redownloaded the rom etc and still doesent work, ive tried a different memory card, the same, im trying to install cyanogen mod

Im using clockwork mod, when i try to flash amonra on my phone by rerooting with unrevoked it just doesent recognize the phone, when i try to s-off using alpharev it recognizes the device but not the phone, the errors before it says that say something like cant open cmdline, file can not be found

just tried it

It just says 'waiting for device' nothing happens.

USB debugging is enabled and ive tried connecting the phone and disconnecting it etc, just the same as unrevoked

ive managed to s off using revolutionary but it still wont flash cyanogenmod

If you're now S-OFF, have you fastboot flashed amon_ra recovery to you phone yet?

If not read the ADB and Fastboot guide before doing anything else - instructions are all there.
