Did a full wipe but cant link phone to goole account thnx to the new system. Ok phones cant use captcha and google shows you how to set it up in account page and how to get a code for phone

but code does not work and still goes to captcha argh

yes big time u now need captcha to log in as well but if the app or device does not supoort it you are supoosed to be able to use a code but so far its not working n stressing me out

Its obviously not affecting current configurations, as all my contacts, mail and calendar are synchronizing without a problem.

I'm on KK5. Is it only if your on a certain version of firmware or above?

no if u have to do a full factory reset etc or use apps that are linked too google

So do we ask have to do something now, out just if we do a factory wipe?

If you need to do a factory reset skip the bit at very beging when it ask u to create or sign in

Could it be something to do with googles changes in privacy policy which came into effect a couple of days ago?

Alright just an update. I factory reset night. No requirement for codes or anything from Google. Not sure whether it's just a UK thing, but it's not required for me. Also haven't found anything about it on the interwebs.
