Help Arranging icons in main menu

Hi Guys

I have just got my HTC Desire and was wondering can you arrange the icons in the main menu (the big list)?

Some i will never use and would be better at the bottom.

No you cannot change the order of the app menu,a better idea would be to use an app like folder organizer to create a folder and put all you favourite apps in there for easy access.

I place shortcuts of my most used apps to the left (or right) window of the home screen

I place shortcuts of my most used apps to the left (or right) window of the home screen

I have 8 of my most used apps on the home screen, along with smaller versions of the weather, clock etc. This puts about 90% of my usage right on the home screen. The rest of the apps are on the first screen to the right, and widgets on all the other screens. Works well for me.
