Root ASOP Lockscreen

Hi All,

Currently using Insertcoin 1.1.1 stable.......In the settings/display there is a tickbox to go back to stock android lockscreen, however this does not appear to do anything. Is there anyway I can get the old ASOP style lockscreen ?

On the original desire roms, you could delete the HTClockscreen apk (or freeze it) and it would revert to ASOP. Not sure about the newer though.

Hi SUroot (Dan),

Yup I thought of that, and tried to rename it, but for some obscure reason, it would not let me, it just reverted to HTClockscreen.apk each time.

Is there anything I could flash to get me around this?

Are you S-off? If you're not, you would have to do it in recovery via ADB shell.

Or just flash the rom again after deleting the lockscreen apk within the zip file.
