assigning message and ringtones to contacts

is it possible to assigndifferent ring tones and message tones to contacts to yopu know who is trying to contact you. i have done it on other phones but cant see a way of doing it on this phone

Yes you can. Here's how I did for phone contacts. Does NOT work for SMS though.

Under the contact, there's an option for Ringtone. Select that and the desired sound.
