Help Astro File Manager External Cache Problems

Installed the free & paid app. All directories empty, apparently did not create a cache on either the SD card or the internal memory. Thoughts anyone? Thanks!
 
After installing the app the SD card wasn't being recognized. Rebooted, SD card recognized, files appeared in the directory.
