ASUS T300 tablet Keyboard not very responsive

I have had this tablet for some time and can say its not a bad tablet but it does not have the responsiveness I am used to from regular PC's or even a ChromeBook. I like the Droid interface and even with the keyboard that plugs into the transformer the keyboard is just eh.. not responsive. Typing hesitates and keystrokes dont always show up and then burst out. I do type quickly but still, I typed on a chrome book and it was very PC like. Does anyone at Google put any value into text entry?

Is this tablet just too slow? Is the OS just to slow? Do you need to root the thing ? overlock it to get performance?

Install TWRP, root the tablet and overclock it to around 1600. Lag issues begone!!
