Help AT&T Captivate On T-Mobile: No edge/2G

Hi, another newbie here.

• I am trying to leave AT&T and go to T-Mobile. I have an AT&T Samsung Captivate that I want to use on T-Mobile.
• They sent me the sim card.
• AT&T gave me the unlock code.
• I got registered with T-Mobile.
• Voice & text worked immediately.
• No internet of any kind, even after an hour or so with T-mobile tech support.

I figured (and have read numerous success stories on this forum and elsewhere) that I would at least get edge/G2, but that's not the case.

Any ideas?

Well, it fixed itself. I certainly did nothing. I'm not aware that T-Mobile did anything to fix it.

Maybe it was nothing but a coverage issue, as I first got it to work in my car, rather than inside my house.
