Root [AT&T] Convince me please..

I've rooted on my previous phone (lg esteem metropcs) because the metro adv were very very annoyed me (they were at least twice a day on that time). I don't see an att adv at all and everything are very fast compare with my previous one (one core vs quad cores duh...). Also, I've seen that rooted note 2 will be "erased" some note 2 features, is that true? Anyway, pls convince me why i should root this note 2. Thx...

ah...never mind...I would never root this super phone, because it does not need to be rooted I believe..

Root access to manually install apps if android os gives you hassle

Apn backup and restore usage

Xprivacy.apk, to controle permissions on an app by app basis

Your choice.
Stick with tw based roms
Jedix or jedi master on xda are great choices.

Aosp aokp or cm you will loose some fuctionality due to no touch wiz

Great list! If that does not sway someone. I don't know what would. But, for me the greatest advantage was the removal of all that crap bloatware.
Its simple. This is my phone. I bought and paid for it. I should not be dictated to or lose control over what apps are on it. Remove bloatware = faster phone, More space for apps you actually use, and last but not least. Better battery life.
