At&t Galaxy Note 2 NO EARBUDS

What was the reason for this dose any one know did at &t make a statement seems pretty cheap of them if every one got them but us

The Verizon and AT&T versions didn't come with earbuds, but I think they were actually cheaper than the Tmo version. I would have gladly given up a pair of earbuds and saved $60.00.

The ear buds that come as freebees are often so cheap that they are useless. Most people that would tend to use earbuds already have a set of quality earbuds and wouldn't need the cheap throwaways.

Yeah, the freebie earbuds are usually crap. Of all the phones I've had, I've never used the earbuds that came with the phones because I know they'll sound poor and probably break within a couple weeks use. I have about 5 pairs of earbuds so not having them included with my AT&T Note 2 was of no concern to me.

What was irritating (besides the fact that AT&T kept the earbuds) was the crappy box my Note 2 came in. I was expecting the fancy white box but AT&T's shady asses decided to pitch that box, steal the earbuds and give me a Note 2 in some rag tag looking AT&T box. That irritated me more then anything else.

I would rather have a nicer box then another pair of cheap headphones.

What's the big deal with the box? You guys actually keep yours? Mine ended up in the trash after my 14 day exchange period was up.

Please understand when making certain references that you're speaking for yourself. There are many people who actually happen to like the included earbuds for whatever reason and to say folks don't is just your opinion.

Thanks.

My US Cellular version came with headphones and the nice box and both are equally worthless. The box is a box so there isn't much use for it. The headphones sound like trash, only slightly better than the old Apple white headphones. If you are a hoarder you will probably really enjoy the box because you can leave it in your hallway or bathroom and if you are mostly deaf the headphones could be nice.

If I'm paying the same for a phone as everyone else I would like to have all the items that the manufacturer normally includes in the box, well, included. Crap headphones or not, I still want them. I'll decide if they are worth using or not after I have a chance to try them.

Exactly.

At&t. Users didnt get a price break for not having the headphones so why did they takevthem out my s3 and skyrocket had earbuds and I agree the note 2 box are horrible

Sprint left the headphones in the box, and I like them very much. Much better than the two different pairs I bought.

It's worth keeping the box for when it's time to sell your GN2. Phones that include the box on eBay bring a much higher price. Go figure.

I've kept the box to every phone I've ever had just for this reason. I like to package it back up when I sell it. I think when people see you kept the box in nice condition they think you kept the phone in nice condition.

In my opinion I am a believer that those that keep their boxes tend to take a little better care of their stuff. A more careless person just tosses the box out. No insult intended to anyone.

The only phone that came with earbuds that I actually use was my Rezound. It came with the $100 set of ibeats earbuds. Say what you will about the Dr. Dre headphones they were still a very nice set to come included with a phone. Any other phone I've had that actually came with earbuds I never gave them second thought. They just stay in the box unopened and unused.

Oh and I am a box keeper. I always keep the box for all of my expensive electronics until I get rid of them.
