AT&T Galaxy S4 gets KitKat

ironass

The AT&T Galaxy S4 variant, SGH-i337, "should", be receiving the AT&T version of Android 4.4.2, KitKat, from today, 26 FEB; onwards. There is no mention of its availability via Kies so it seems to be an OTA, (Over the Air), update that will be gradually rolled out by AT&T themselves and not via Samsung. Also, at this time there are no details as to the KitKat build version that this will be based on or if it will come with the latest Knox 2.0 Security installed.

"The update brings the Galaxy S4 to Android version 4.4.2, and has a few other notable changes:

Samsung Galaxy Gear compatibility
Drag and drop to uninstall or disable applications
Call reliability improvements

Can you guys confirm if you can still move apps 2 SD card and transferring files between internal storage and SD card? thanks

So i did the upgrade last night and everything seems fine. It still looks like TouchWiz is the default launcher. Any way that I could use the icons/launcher native to KitKat?

Can anyone with the i337 and KK verify if you can use ES File Explorer to move files across a WLAN (from either internal storage and/or from the SD card)? I've been doing this forever but hear that is no longer possible with KK. If not via wifi, can you still move files with ES FE by USB?
