Root [AT&T] How to move widgets back to widget area

They're all in the widget "area" that you get to when you long-press a blank spot on the homepage. Putting a widget on screen doesn't move it from where it was, it just creates it on the screen. If you remove it, then go to Widgets, you'll see that it's still there if you want to install it to the screen again.
 
moving an app from the app drawer .. to the homescreen.. does not remove it from the app drawer

same goes for widgets... always available in the widget drawer.

dragging them from the homescreen to be deleted.. does NOT remove he item from the phone or the drawer.

only uninstall the app/widget .. will remove the item from the device.
