AT&T Maps vs. Google Maps

Has anyone noticed the differences in using the two maps in terms of location accuracy? Specifically with GPS off.

I don't expect either app to be extremely accurate in finding my location with GPS off, but what's odd is that Google Maps put's me about .25 miles WNW of my actual location while AT&T Maps put's my location .25 ENE of my actual location. You would think that the operating system determines the location and provides the app of that information, but that doesn't seem to be the case (since the two maps are showing different locations).

Can you guys post your findings - GPS off.

It's probably cause there are so many threads about the GPS malfunction. Samsung knows they better get this update out or the galaxy series ends this seres.

id try it.. but i deleted att maps right after i rooted. ive never had a problem with my gps using google maps though.

With GPS off? That's what is confusing me about the original post. Why would you expect any accuracy with GPS off? How did you even get a lock?

I just used google maps for thefirst time & it locked on right away. I'll check it out tomorrow while inside the theme park.
