AT&T Mark the spot

I am sure this has come up before but I find it ludicrous that I cannot use the AT&T "Mark the spot" App to submit info about their service because my phone has a GPS THAT DOES NOT WORK!

I find it even more ludicrous that your GPS doesn't work. :p

Somewhat off topic. I was building a house for somebody and reception was really spotty. I was playing around one day and submitted the location on my old iPhone just for kicks. Six months later, long after the house was completed, I got a random text that they had upgraded the network in that neighborhood and that the signal had improved.

I was surprised, figuring that those submissions went nowhere.
Now with my Captivate and no gps, I cannot submit locations. Boo.

Wow, I'm actually impressed. That's good to know.

I was VERY surprised that I got a response, and that it was informing me of a network upgrade. Most complaints/issues fall on the deaf ears of at&t. Even if the upgrade was previously planned, I give them credit for following up. Now that I think about it, I remember submitting that location many times, as I was always struggling to find a signal.
