I've spent a lot of time looking for answers regarding my issue(s). This is my first post...so please bear with me and thank you.
I bought an ATT Note 2, shg-is17, running 4.1.2.
The kernel version is: 3.0.31-136338

I've tried to use the instructions and video posted in How to Root Galaxy Note 2 on Linux/Ubuntu! | Galaxy Note 2 Root!
I get a couple errors within heimdall: protocol won't initialize, or signatures can't be verified...
I believe the CWM SU zip file may not have the correct kernel settings....
Anyway, I'd love to learn more about the process, and android, but I just need to get this done! I've wiped my phone at least 3 times, and I have a lot of other things to do. PLEASE HELP!!!!!
