Root [AT&T] Need help

Okay today I bought a note 2 . I have everything to root but when I connected it to laptop nothing shows up all the phone does is charge. I understand I might need usb drivers but can't find them im using a windows 8 computer. So if anyone would be kind enough to push me in right direction I would appreciate that. Or if I should ask on another forum just push me that way lol .

Okay I tried and wouldn't let me install it said app cant install then I tried as administrator and said It couldn't find it . I went into device manager and when phone is connected it shows samsung android phone then Samsung adb interface. Ever thing says working properly. Any ideas ?

Nvm I got it working just factory reseted my phone and worked
