The biggest reason for me was all the blotware the fone is a 16gig fone but with all the at&t trash its only like 9 or so

Like the hp app I dont have a printer at all but I force me to update all the time eating away at my memory

I have a 32Gig GS4 with a 64Gig SD card, so I am not concerned about storage. But I'm sure there are valid reasons to root... and backing up apps and settings may be one of them.

You didn't "break a rule," but your best chance of getting answers is by posting in the appropriate sub-forum (e.g., S4 root questions in the "S4 - All Things Root" area) . Petrah did that for you is all. No problem at all.
