its probably steve jobs doing, to quote
"I will spend my last dying breath if I need to, and I will spend every penny of Apple's $40 billion in the bank, to right this wrong... I'm going to destroy Android, because it's a stolen product. I'm willing to go thermonuclear war on this."
That's just BS. My understanding is that the corporate stores that don't have the GS2 are doing so because they're going to get the LTE version in a few days.According to a corporate AT&T store, they aren't allowed to sell the SGSII in stores in california per their contract with Apple??? wtf
i can't even go into a store to play with one before i buy it?

Highly doubtful, this is ATT we are talking about, they want as much money as Apple does from our pockets. If they could, they would sell GS2s, AND GS2 LTE. Why wouldn't ATT want the most popular phone out in the world to sell if it wasn't because of some deal prohibiting them from selling?

Just called a corporate att store right now in southern California
“it has been AT&T’s policy not to carry the Samsung galaxy S2 in store, however I haven’t heard anything about the new one so that might or might not change, call back sunday”
If that's really the case, Samsung should stop supplying it's phones to AT&T at some point. The company is too good and too big to depend on AT&T, but I'm not sure if AT&T can deal with losing one of the best (if not THE best) suppliers of cell phones. Unlike many other markets where the US just outspends good portion of the the rest of the world, I don't think this is the case for cell phones. So, it's not like Samsung is about to go broke if they show AT&T who's the boss...By the way, I don't think AT&T is dumb enough to let that happen, Samsung just needs to show some b****...

How many times has it been posted in this forum that the people at the stores are stupid and not to believe them.![]()

The people at the stores' also want to push what makes the most money. Just like aTt, their stores will push a certain inventory if it means they tell you anything to get something else in your hands..
But i dont normally buy from att, i go to the manufacturer or other outlets.
They make their commision selling new contractrs for service or extending existing contracts. They do not make money on the equipment. They use what they have in inventory.
No clue why it is, but it's the same in the Houston market. I called all local corporate stores and was told they don't carry it and won't. I had to get it from the website or another vendor. I ended up getting it from Radioshack.
