AT&T Note 2 users

Trying to gauge how happy Note 2 users are on the AT&T network. 4G just went live in my city, Toledo Ohio, and I am now considering switching from Sprint to AT&T instead if Verizon. The extra wait and the fact that you can't turn off WiFi on the verizon model have rubbed me the wrong way.

Wife doesn't care as long as the phone works, her number can be ported, and she can have an S3, but I want to know how other people feel before I take the plunge.

Ive had ATT since 2008 and have been happy with the service so far. LTE is awesome where i'm located. Ive also had Sprint and Verizon.
 
I was about to switch from AT&T when I was using my iPhone 4 because I had lots of dropped calls. Granted, here by my office is not the best area for cell phone signal, but since using the Note 2 I have not had any dropped calls. LTE speeds are also very fast here in San Jose, CA. I have gotten speeds of about 39kbps down and about 18kpbs up.
 
I have been with ATT since 2004, and have no negative experiences... I called them about the Note 2 to see if they would offer an early upgrade discount, since my contract did not expire till March. I was very surprised and pleased with their response, offering me the full discount in appreciation for my "loyalty" and good standing. Loyalty goes both ways, and I appreciate companies that realize this.
 
You cant turn the wifi off on the verizon version? Thats asinine.

I've been with att since 2007 and have never had any real issues. I don't have LTE in my area so I can't comment on that. Just wish they'd hurry up and get it here.
 
Couldn't take the wait for Verizon anymore. Stopped by ATT and got the Note 2. ATT is very fast and the phone is great. Bonus was the wife got a great discount on the service through her work.
