Where did you order your AT&T Note 2 from?

With the "expected/promised" ship date of the AT&T Note 2 just around the corner (orders , I was to see when people ordered their Notes, when the order status changes from processing to shipped and when you actually get it for both AT&T and other places like Best Buy.

I'm looking for the following information in regards to your order and when you have an update

#1. When you ordered your AT&T Note 2 and from who...
#2. When your order change from processing to shipped for your AT&T Note 2...
#3. When you order was delivered for your AT&T Note 2...
#4. Or if there has been a shipping delay of some kind, like Signature required

UPDATE My order shipped 11/7/2012 @ 13:23 PST via FedEx 2nd day air (AT&T Premier Customer)

Update: 8:40 EST - Just spoke with an AT&T rep, they told me my name/order number is not currently on the "backorder list," however, I am still showing "processing," not "shipped" with a tracking number.
 
Ordered 10/25 9PM from ATT.com still processing...I'm upgrading if that detail is helpful and I paid $15 for overnight shipping!
 
Upgrading from an iPhone 4 and I ordered 10/26 from att with regular shipping. However now I'm sitting here wondering why the heck didn't I get it over nighted. Wonder if I can get that changed.

EDIT: Nope, can't get it changed. They said I could cancel and re-order the phone with overnight shipping. I think I'll just practice some patience and wait it out.
 
I got an AT&T email confirmation 10 minutes after I placed my Order @ 11:54 PM CDT, October 25, 2012 - saying my Note 2 will ship November 6, 2012.

I understand these phones will ship from the AT&T Center in Midland, Texas.
 
The day I ordered (10/25/2012) AT&T was running a "free Priority" shipping on phones.

My last two AT&T phones were ordered as upgrades and both shipped to me in California from the huge AT&T Phone Center in Midland, Texas.

Also I asked my local AT&T store where do their phones ship from and they showed me an AT&T shipping box from (Midland, TX.)


EDIT - update - seems these will ship from AT&T Phone Center in Fort Worth , Texas

My father lives in Midland , TX - near the actual AT&T distribution center building- its a huge building - closed to the public, but once occupied by a Lowes Home Center

I believe "Free Priority" means it goes USPS Priority small package mail.

Which means 2 days for me (Texas to California) - and signature required.

On the day i ordered - "Free Priority" was the only shipping method offered by AT&T for a "upgrade" phone.
 
just wanted to check with everyone else. I called AT&T today (11/5) and I asked them about my credit card not being charged yet. They say that sometimes they charge it before it ships, sometimes right when they ship. My credit card hasn't been charged yet. Can anyone verify that their credit card statements show that AT&T has already billed them? Hope this doesn't mean a bad sign for me :(

I haven't been billed yet either.

That said, take a deep breath. Think of the other times you've become antsy over pending tech. They turned out OK right?

Now think about the fact you can afford the time and money to stress over a $300 phone.

Don't sweat the small stuff, dude.

I'm hoping that my order has not been cancelled and the hold was released to get ready or shipping today! If it's cancelled I'll be bummed but I had already planned on picking up my wife's on trade-in on Friday from the AT&T store. The rep I spoke to said that they have had no pre orders in the store for the Note 2.

No need to worry about your order charges. I have a lot of experience as my work pre-authorizes your card, and then charges the card ONLY when the order is processed and has shipped.

I spoke with a manager at AT&T corp because I say the authorization of $299.99, then it went away to see if they do the same thing. AT&T pre-authorized the card used (just like if you go to a gas station and see that $1 pending charge) to make sure there was enough funds. The Authorization only lasts so long, so either a charge needs to come through or the bank releases the funds.


Since AT&T is not going to charge the cards until the orders are processed (later today), the funds for most of us have been released. They should charge our cards later today when the order is processed, so make sure you have the ~$350 needed available so your order does not get delayed.

The free shipping method they offered me was FedEx 2nd day; but I am a premier business customer, so I do not know if that matters
 
Pre ordered on 10/25 online at AT&T website. They initially took the money out of my

account but put it back in. Still waiting for my processing to turn into shipped. I guess Ill

get my phone by Friday or something.....Being patient is a virtue
 
I didn't order until 11/2 I just hope they don't run out of stock before they get to my order. Anyone know what time of day AT&T typicically ships orders?
 
I pre-ordered mine on 10/26. I was hoping to see an update in My Orders but it still says processing, so no change yet. It's going to be a long day.
 
The "processing" status is new though right? Was the previous status "pending" or has it always said processing?
