AT&T Preorder question

So I am jumping ship from an iPhone 4S to the GS4. My question is that my upgrade date is the first week of May, that being said is there any chance AT&T will let me upgrade early and preorder next week if it becomes available???

Tough to have to wait the extra month...
 
You'd have to talk to someone in the store. Maybe they can push the upgrade date up a bit for you.
