AT&T Upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich

Yea i upgraded yesterday. i had lots of trouble trying to upgrade to gingerbread when it was released. this upgraded wasn't too bad now it wasn't smooth gave me a few headaches but i got it done. big time improvement the phone runs very smooth.
 
It wasn't too bad based on my internet connection it took 1hr 20mins to download and about 30 more mins to go through it.

I finished the upgrade to ICS from Gingerbread and everything went smoothly but was incredibly annoyed and confused to find that my touch screen is now completely unresponsive. It was working fine before the update, I have already tried disassembling the phone and checking the digitizer's connection (which was fine). The Power, Volume, and 3D buttons work so it seems the update literally broke my touch screen.

Anyone able to help me out?
 
I absolutely HATE ICS on my Thrill. The browser freezes, and my battery life is all but gone. I want to revert back to Gingerbread, but I can't root to get at my backup.

SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED TO ME.. Ive tried recovery mode on LG mobile support tool... doesnt help.. ive tryed hard reset.. But my hard reset is different from every1 elses.. when i hard reset my thrill 3d.. i hold down vol + power.. when it vibrates i let power go.. and it brings up a screen that says Factory hard reset.. press power to confirm.. any other botton to cancel...................... there is no scroll down to yes and let it wipe... so im ******.. i need help >.<
