The G2 will work on AT&T and so will this. You will not have 3G connectivity with either one though.

The G2 would not get AT&T 3G, but the HTC website lists the Z's specifications as GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, which I believe would get AT&T 3G.

Both of them are quadband phones, however, when it comes to 3G, the G2 only operates on AWS (1700/2100Mhz) and the Desire Z only operates on 900/2100Mhz frequencies.

AT&T only supports 850/1900Mhz frequencies for 3G.
