Okay, I apologize if these are dumb questions, but I'm new to the Android world. I just bought a Motorola Atrix 4G, and while I really like the phone overall there are a few things about it that really bug me. (E.g., battery life, MOTOBLUR.) I'm trying to set the phone up the way I like it, and I'm having difficulty with such trivial things as contacts, so here are two questions I'm hopeful somone here can answer. Thanks for any help you might be able to offer!
- Q1: I much prefer to have my contacts listed Last Name, First Name. My previous phones, all much more primitive, have had some kind of option for this, but I cannot figure out if it's even possible on the Atrix. Any suggestions?
- Q2: This is related, and maybe should even precede Q1 above. When I link contacts from various sources (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Google), it seems I cannot choose how the person's name will appear. If I have a friend named "Ted Jones", for example, the Atrix may choose to list his linked contacts by his Facebook name, which he has as "Big TJ Mac". (Not a real person!) Even worse, if Ted puts his name in quotes on Facebook, it puts him a the top rather than alphabetically! Ugh. So how do I choose how to list someone's name, so it's not stupid?
