Atrix issues

I've had the atrix since release and have had some issues that keep me from really enjoying this phone.

1. The wi-fi seems to cut out and doesnt seem to be able to maintain a steady connection alot of the time

2. The keyboard sucks, any suggestions? i tried swiftkey X beta but the spacebar is too small so i end up using a ton of periods which is annoying. My iphone 3g had the best keyboard i have ever used and i would love to find something close to that good of consistency and brilliant spell correct

When I brought mine home from the store it had the wi-fi disconnects like you speak of and the battery life sucked. Settings -> Privacy -> Factory Data Reset took care of those problems.

For a keyboard I am using Keyboard from Android 2.3 + - Android app on AppBrain

There is a free version too Keyboard from Android 2.3 - Android app on AppBrain

You can remove the microphone key and period key to give yourself a huge spacebar. You can also resize the keys to your liking. I haven't resized anything but it somehow seems bigger and a lot easier to type on than the stock.

On my device a little below the center of the screen there are two spots that seem a little brighter than the rest of the screen. Has anyone else noticed this?

I use Ultimate Keyboard. It is very flexible and can be configured in many ways. It also has spell check that works fantastic.
