For anyone who doesn't know AT&T is selling the atrix laptop docks for 50$ w/ free shipping. Here's the link.

I think there's a way around using Data from your phone and using WIFI instead, if anyone can confirm I'd appreciate it.

I was going to buy a laptop dock last weekend, from the ATT store. They were $99,until a store associate said I was required to upgrade to the $45 dollar 4 Gig plan,even though I was only going to use the dock at home using WiFi.

Yeah I've been looking into it, haven't found to many answers. I just want to use it w/ WIFI hopefully there's a work around somewhere on XDA. I already hate AT&T's service so there's no way i'm gonna pay 45$/month.

I have one that I bought from at&t's website. I didn't have to do an upgrade to the 4GB
Tethering plan. I use wifi at home and when out, I use the Mobile browser in the mobile view. Works great.

The deal must have been short. It did say $50, but now it has gone up to $99 and out of stock.

I got a confirmed order at the $50 price on Sunday, but it has not shipped yet.

Prior online orders from AT&T have shipped immediately, so I guess I will just have to keep my fingers crossed. Does not look promising right now.

After confirming that they would soon receive a new shipment of docks, Last night AT&T sent cancellation notices to most, if not all, of those with outstanding orders for the $50.00 deal. There are a lot of disappointed atrix owners today!
