Help Atrix not viberating (multiple phones) ....

I had an Atrix 4G that wasn't vibrating. I returned it per the warranty when it started turning itself off and on repeatedly. Now I've got the new phone mailed to me, and it doesn't vibrate either. Yet the setting in Sounds is to Always vibrate.

Is there some setting somewhere I'm missing? Why would it be both phones?

If you are referring to the settings under "sound settings" make sure it is turned on. From the lock screen slide the bar from right to left and see what happens.

Yeah, in the Sound Settings "Vibrate" is set to always. I've even set it to silent, and then set the phone to silent and gotten a text with no vibrate.

I'm pretty confused. Both phones still vibrate for the timer, or alarm. It also vibrates when the sound is all the way down and you hit the down volume button. Yet, it will not vibrate for a call or text only.

Can't figure it out. Try installing this app "Volume Control" from the market. Play with the settings and see if it works. (I use this myself) Also, try "Silent Toggle Widget" by Droidmania.

I tried the app and I still haven't gotten anything to work. I did the AT&T warranty through the mail thing and the phone I got has a blown speaker that I didn't notice until I turned the sound on yesterday. All sounds are messed up terribly. So I am going to a device support center here tomorrow to complain and see if they can do something for me on the spot. I am a bit annoyed to say the least.

In the process I am going to ask about the vibrating issue between the phones and see what they say. Hopefully I can get an answer.
