Help Atrix Problem..gallery, music apps wont open.

This is so screwed up. I go to open my picture gallery and it almost freezes, goes to a black screen for a while then says the application activity gallery is not responding and does a force close. This does the same thing now to my music. I have scanned for virus and unmounted and remounted my sd card. Sometimes it works, but before long it is back to the same problem. Anyone else dealing with this?? suggestions?

I also had this problem and after a lot of fiddling I killed "LookOut" my antivirus and it all started working again!!
