Help atrix turns off wifi after a while

hey, after my phone screen is turned of for a serveral amount of time (10 min or 20 or so) it turnes wifi off.
i looked at the battery mode and the peak hours is just for sync so nothing abuot wifi and in the wifi settings there is no option to say "sty online al l the time2 or something like that.

now tell me something: WHERE is the sense in having a smartphone when it turnes of the internet? i dont want to stare at my phone until i get a email or facebook update or whatsoever, i want my phone to be online all the time even when not used and it to notify when there is some message or so.

also my facebook only updates like every 30 minutes, what the ****? where is the point in getting messages 1 hour after i actually got them? no point having a smartphone then?!

after 2 days not finding the option i asked here and now i found it of course.

for those who have the same problem: go to settings ---> wireless & networks --->wi-fi settings ---> hit "menu" button and then advanced ---> wifi sleep policy

Well, I've been gone a few days or else I would have pointed that one out.

However, this has been discussed in several posts here before. Your FASTEST way of finding an answer is to use the SEARCH function at the top if this forum. Then, if you can't find a thread about what you are looking for, start a new thread.

I've had the phone only 4 days and AT&T couldn't tell me what to do. They called Motorola who said that "Wifi turns off when a call comes in. That's just the way the ATRIX 2 works."

Go figure..........
