ATT Sim Card?

I just ordered my N7 LTE Monday. The one that was listed with the T mobile sim card. I currently have the first gen N7 on a data share plan with ATT and its great. Just want the higher res screen and the faster LTE data so I'm upgrading. My question is can I just pop the sim out of my gen1 N7 and into the new LTE N7 and have it get LTE service? Is there a difference in sim cards for the older 3G devices vs the newer LTE ones? I called att 3 times and asked and have gotten 3 different answers. First person said it wouldn't work and I need to bring the new N7 to the ATT store and buy a $25 sim card, 2nd person said just put the old sim in the new N7 and it will work but I need to call and give them the new IMEI number before it would work and the 3rd person said that I didn't need to do anything except transfer the sim and it would be on LTE.

So has anyone gone from the gen 1 N7 to the gen2 on ATT? What was needed to get the new tablet on the ATT LTE network?

Sorry for the different answers you have been getting. If you go into a AT&T Company Store with the new device they should issue you a new sim that is compatible with 4G free of charge. Once you have the new sim, they also need to update the IMEI. You can try to use the old sim in the new device but it most likely will either read 3G only or not read at all.
