I herd this phone (htc sensation) is a UK based phone. I live in the us. Is it possible to buy this phone (unlocked) and use att's prepaid service on this phone? I also want to know if i can surf the web also with this phone on the data packages att provides for prepaid users. Thanks!

The Sensation is available worldwide and is not UK based. It is available in the USA - there it is called the Sensation 4G, which is the same phone AFAIK. I know Tmous (T Mobile USA) sell it in the USA. I do not know if you can use it on att - if they use the same frequencies and bands as Tmous (and use SIM based phone too) then maybe you can. But don't bank on it without getting some more advice.

As for surfing the web on prepaid tariffs I know that Tmous allow it, but I do not know about att.
