Help Attn people with 4g/internet connection problems (white 4g logo)

Hi all, a lot of us have discussed that frustrating problem where once the internet disconnects and connects back, the logo is white and says 4g but it's not actually connected. The internet doesn't actually connect back unless you cycle airplane mode or reboot the phone.

I returned my first phone that had this problem, but the second one had it too. I think a lot of us figured that this is just how all the phones are, but I went back and returned it again.

THIS NEW PHONE DOESN'T HAVE THAT PROBLEM! :) I've had it for 2 days now and traveled quite a bit around Los Angeles yesterday and cycled the phone at least 100 times. It didn't have problems connecting back even once!

So if you have this problem, take back your phone! You don't have to live with it because not all the phones have this problem.
 
I think somebody said when 4g is in green it means you are on 4g and using a google app and all white means you are on 4g with no google app running.

Either way, the logo being green wasn't the problem. It was just how you would know that the internet was f'd up and wasn't connected. People who experienced the problem will know what I'm talking about, there are 2 long threads about this.

Happened to me once. All i did was activate and then deactivate airplanemode which made it research for the network. Worked perfectly after that
 
Updating my PRL and rooting my phone solved this problem for me. MetroPCS people absolutely refused to swap out my phone so I fixed it myself. :D
