Help Audio distortion with earphone (not speakerphone)

Has anyone else noticed a distinct twangy audio distortion when talking on the phone? It is most noticeable if the earphone is set to max volume and the person is speaking loudly. I also notice it at lower volumes as well. I tried talking on a different GalNex and noticed it on the other phone as well so I don't think it is unique to my phone. Maybe I have sensitive ears? It's bad enough that I can't stand long conversations with people.

Ya, it doesn't sound good at all. I'm hoping it might be tunable with a software fix. Its very pitch at times depending on who u r talking to

It does seem to vary significantly depending upon who I call so hopefully it is software related. Unfortunately my girlfriend is one of the people affected. Now she sounds even more annoying when she's mad. I kid.
