Help audio message preceding ring tone?

I have recently been starting to get an audio voice message when someone calls me. "Incoming call from xxx-xxx-xxxx)" sort of thing, maybe not EXACTLY that, but close.

I don't remember setting anything up like that, and I don't like it. I just want it to ring when someone calls, and play the voice mail one for voice mail and the text message one for that.

I have gone thru every setting I can find on the phone and can't seem to get this thing to stfu!!

Kind of embarrasing, but can anyone steer me towards this?

Go to Settings/Call Settings and look at "Caller ID Readout" . That's where you opt for an audible announcement of the Caller ID.

I saw that setting, but I assumed it was for the actual readout on the screen, not a "bitchin betty" thing.
