Help Audio not working over HDMI

Hey guys,

so i just tried to play a video i recorded on my Atrix over HDMI with the entertainment center and i couldnt get any audio. even music wasn't working.

Im running 4.1.57 rooted with no mods.

any ideas what the problem might be?

HDMI cable is for Video only, it does not transfer Audio. For Audio, you will need to use the headphone jack and connect the phone with a speaker or use the Line-In or Audio In feature of your TV/Audio System.

umm, thanks for the reply but HDMI does transfer audio (think xbox/ps3). I had full movies working with audio before the update, only have this problem since i flashed and updated.
