My speaker is no longer working. I installed a program called "Super Mono Froyo" to route any and all audio to my bluetooth, the program worked for a while and would switch the audio just fine, but I can no longer switch audio to my speaker. So I get no ring or notification tones. I hear the rings and notifications fine if I have a headset plugged in.
At first I thought it was the speaker but then I was listening to some audio through the bluetooth and I received a phone call. When the phone call was terminated for a brief second audio was switched back to the speaker before being routed once again to the bluetooth.
I have reset the phone, tried several roms, cleared all the caches several times and still no speaker audio. So I purchased a program called "Audio Route Switcher" hoping it may fix things. Well, it didn't fix it but when I select "route audio to earpiece" I do hear audio through the speaker (although it is not near as loud as it should be). If I select "route audio to speaker" I hear nothing.
The phone is a year old and under a best buy protection program...I would just take it back to best buy but I would probably have to unroot it first.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
