Help Audio recording issue

Hi all. I have the Epic and I recently noticed that on my video recordings, often times there will be no audio recorded. Sometimes it will pick up a few seconds after video recording starts, other times it will be off altogether. No bluetooth or headphones plugged in and the audio recording box is checked.

Send the phone to Samsung and they said this:

NO TROUBLE FOUND
SW,PRL,OTSL RESET

Now I'm going to get it back tomorrow and I'm hoping it's fixed, but based on that text, I don't think it is. I called and they said it's fixed but it's just real irritating. I don't want to have to send the phone back to Samsung AGAIN and be without a phone for another week.

Anybody have any similar issues?

not here. stupid question...you are not inadvertently covering the microphone hole during the recording, right? sorry, had to ask.

can you take it to a sprint service store, instead of sending it away to samsung? it would be quite easy to show the tech at the sprint service store.

Yea Im not covering the mic. That's the first thing I thought! lol. I took it to a Sprint store but they said since it doesn't have insurance on it they won't do in-store warranty stuff covered by manufacturer. I think I'm going to try to take it back in and see though if it still has the problem.
