Augen Gentouch78 root or mod?

I bought this tablet thinking it was good enough for me... well it would be if it had android market on it. I really have no use for it if I can't do anything with it but skype and go on the web. that's what my laptop is for. Is there any way to mod or root it? I really just want android market on it so I can download apps and launchers for it.

If there is, please let me know,, and tell me step by step what to do (I've never rooted a phone or tablet before)

Maybe better to get a refund and get a tablet from a reputable maker. FYI Augen appears to have ceased trading, their website is dead.

There are 2 versions of Gentouch first with 2.5mm headphone jacks and 2nd with 3.5mm jacks. You can't put firmware patch for first Gentouch on 2nd version. Sent pm with some links.
