Augh, new sd card problems!

Okay, I have the kyocera rise which comes with an sd card with little memory. I bought the 16 GB sd card and the guy at RadioShack inserted it but said I need to back the old one up on the computer to transfer it to the new SD card. Number one, I don't have a USB cable. Number two, I have no idea how to back the card up on my computer. Is there any way I can transfer my apps, music, and pictures to the new SD care? Please help, this is urgent as I have no more SD memory on my old card!! thanks in advance ~

Do you have access to wifi where you can move data quickly and without impacting your plan? If so, this might be a good solution for you.

You can have the old card in your phone and transfer the contents to your pc and then switch cards and dl what you want to.
