Root auto 3g off and on

Has anyone got any recommendations for a good auto 3g off and on? As juice defender isn't supported on gingerbread yet, i want one that disabled it when phone locked and on again when unlocked, I've searched the market and found one but it doesn't turn it back on.

Try tasker. Its a great app. It costs a few quid though

Are you on commission for tasker? Lol, ill check it out. What else does it do?

I have it turn wifi on and off at certain times, turn into vibrate mode between day times, Silent mode at sleep times. I also have it so if certain people call me, it turns off silent mode, allows the phone to ring then waits 30 seconds to go back into silent mode.

Thats all I use it for, but it can do so much more.

I use Phoneweaver for the same thing. Maybe not as powerful/flexible but I find it easier and does everything I want.

I've a quieter work profile. A louder one for when I'm out. One that goes silent when theres a meeting with a certain keyword in my calendar and one that switches on PowerAmp and starts playing when I plug in my headphones. I also have a calls and texts only one when I need my battery to last.

These tools, there are a few around, are what makes Android such a joy to use....that and flashing roms anyway!
