Help auto add words disabled on replacement phone dictionary

I have looked everywhere and cant seem to find this...On my original Incredible when I typed a word it didnt ahve and then selected it from the list on the left it would auto add it to the dictionary. I have a replacement now and it doesnt do it and for the life of me I cant find the setting to enable it. Any ideas where this is at?

Did you try Settings > Language & Keyboard > Touch Input > Text Input.. then checking either "Word Completion" or "Prediction"?
